Axis 1 Capital Management LLC offers small to mid-sized originators of pre-settlement contracts institutional-level funding. Our credit facilities allow originators to grow their portfolios, increase market share and participate in greater monetization opportunities (bank rate financing/securitization). Originators can also realize a profit in advance of contract settlement and retain a performance-based carried interest in assets that are sold/monetized.
Axis 1 Capital Management principals have over 60 years of institutional corporate finance and asset management experience; working with many well-known institutions; including Deutche Bank, Credit Suisse, Credit Agricole and Apollo Capital. We have also structured and closed finance/equity transactions with some of the largest private equity groups. We specialize in the alternative asset space having successfully aggregated, managed, structured products and asset-backed securities in excess of $10B to date.
Market Opportunity
We believe there is considerable growth potential within the litigation finance space through the expansion of access points for institutional capital. We seek to establish partnerships with operating companies looking to scale and grow assets under management, accelerate monetization pre-contract settlement and enhance overall economics through back-end participation.
